There are a huge number of churches in the borough of Dudley each with their own unique and individual personality. The historic denominations are represented by the Church of England, Methodist and Baptist congregations. Each of these will have their own particular shape and style. There are equally as many expressions of ‘church’ from less well-known traditions; These include charismatic traditions like Assemblies of God, Elim and then other even newer expressions of church many of whom found their roots in the House Church movement of the 70’s. We also have some black Pentecostal traditions like, for example, the Church of God of Prophecy.
This variety of traditions, shapes and styles of church means that hopefully there is an expression of church family that everyone who is looking for a place to worship and belong, will be able to find a ‘home’ that fits their hopes, aspirations and preferred style of liturgy.
Not every church in the borough is an active part of the Love Dudley Network. The map below identifies those that are a part of our network. We have a brief explanation provided by the church family that they hope describes their expression of ‘church’ in their location whilst other just have the link to their website and a contact number where readily available.
